The Whitworth Park Hotel is ideally placed to visit the Peak District's many attractions. This grade 2 listed building has been fully refurbished.
This Victorian building retains many original features, from the beautiful oak panelled restaurant to the very sylish lounge bar, this period property has been sympathetically restored. We have five fantastic rooms all en-suite, three of which are exceptionally large. Our restaurant serves top quality freshly prepared food seven days a week. Our full English breakfast is also freshly cooked to order.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

It is strongly advisable to book a table for diner in advance either by telephoning the hotel direct or emailing. Please note that on Sundays food is served from 12:00 to 19:00.

This spacious double room has the advantage of a large window seat for you to sit and relax at your leisure watching the world go by.
This is a very large double room overlooking the park. It has the additional benefit of a double sofa bed, so it can easily accommodate 2 extra people.
This light and spacious room provides a luxurious setting for your stay with us. The room has either one queen-size bed or 2 twin beds. Please inform the hotel whether you would prefer one queen-size bed or 2 twin beds on the day of booking, either by using the comments field when making your reservation or by contacting the hotel directly, using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email.
Here at the Whitworth Park we understand the importance of food and the dining experience. Andrew Whittaker and his team of chefs are proud to offer freshly prepared food, from traditional to more contemporary dishes to suit all tastes. 27 year old Andrew trained at a local catering college before starting his career at Willersley Castle in nearby Cromford. Following this he became a sous chef at The Druids in Birchover before moving south to Woburn Estate. Here he progressed from sous chef to head chef followed by executive chef, where he oversaw all the restaurants and their menus within the complex. Coming back to his roots, Andrew uses his vast chef experience to formulate menus to cater for an array of tastes and occasions. The Whitworth Park kitchen team are proud to offer a selection of dishes that give you the Whitworth Park dining experience.
We are situated on the a6 between Matlock and Bakewell. The m1 j29 is approximately 14 miles and j28 12 miles. Matlock is 3 miles and Bakewell 5 Miles. You will find us on the junction of the a6 and the b5057.
